Our second stop in Japan was Kyoto, via the high-speed bullet train called the Shinkansen. We saw the Kiyomuzudera Temple, Tofukuji Temple, Fushimi-Inari Shrine, and sampled sashimi tuna, spiced squid on a stick at the Nishiki Market. We also made friends with the monkeys of Arashiyama and stayed at a traditional ryokan onsen, with natural hot spring baths before our journey ended. Photographed on the Fujifilm X100T.
