We like to keep Halloween interesting. This year we created a scavenger Trick or Treat. A list of clues indicated where to go and upon arriving near a local neighborhood landmark, they were given a treat (candy), or a trick. The trick was just a long, scary story in which children who died a horrible death need to have their souls freed and the only way to do that is to eat something nasty, like eyeballs, or tossing "intestines" off the North Portland bluff. So maybe it was just an average Halloween.

I love this woman. I couldn't be more proud of her as she gets ready to transition into a new decade. She has already accomplished so much and travelled the world. I'm looking forward to so many more adventures with her.
