365 Project

Since I began documenting my family, the priority has always been to create a body of work for my kids so they can relive their childhood. Sometimes, I find my tweenagers in the living room, emotionally exhausted from middle school hell, thumbing through the years of photo books stacked on the credenza.

This is my fourth year of doing a 365 project, making a photo a day. Every year I’m forced to find the signature of my particular voice. To lose bad habits, and to challenge myself to ignore trends. To practice what makes my photographs unique, while learning to use the camera in every day life with those closest to me. Below is a collection of some favorite frames made during these projects.
